Yangon, Myanmar - A SIA (Singapore Airlines) Airbus A330-300 aircraft hit its tail to the ground while landing at Yangon International Airport in Myanmar.
On Nov. 25, the SIA A330-300 with registration 9V-SSI was arriving in Yangdo from Singapore with 282 passengers and 13 crew members on board when the incident happened.
SIA said the plane suffered some damage upon landing, but taxied to the gate without any problem. No injuries were reported.
Engineers assessed the damage to the aircraft, and a relief aircraft was sent to Yangon to operate the return flight,
the Asian carrier said in a statement.
SIA states that they were investigating the incident with the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau of Myanmar.
