Qantas welcomes 1st Airbus A330-200P2F
On 21 September 2023, Qantas took delivery of its first of two Airbus A330-200P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter) converted aircraft. The A330, VH-EBF (853), arrived at Cairns from Busan via Singapore. It had been under conversion at Dresden since November 2022.
The Airbus will be operated by Qantas-subsidiary Express Freighters and deployed for Australia Post, hence the titles. The second A330 will be operated for Qantas Freight. Express Freighters currently operates a fleet of three A321P2Fs, three Boeing B737-300BDSFs, one B737-400SF, and one B767-300F.
