EUROPEAN CARGO GOES INTO ADMINISTRATION

European Cargo has entered business administration on 3 June 2026. As a result, of this, the airline ceased all operations and staff has been laid-off. Administrators have been appointed to handle the wind-down. It had been reporting negative figures since at least 2024.

The airline was established in December 2020, and launched flights in January 2021. It saw an opportunity as demand for cargo-flights grew significantly due to the pandemic. European Cargo conducted its flight with so-called "phreighters", passenger aircraft that were amended to fly (light) cargo in the main cabin.

Over the years, it flew solely with Airbus A340-500s and A340-600s. The following aircraft have been registered by them:
