Fifth A400M for Belgian Air Force
On 10 November 2021, the Belgische Luchtmacht (BAF, Belgian Air Force) received her fifth Airbus A400M. The new transporter, serial CT05 (construction number 116), arrived at Melsbroek air base in the late afternoon.
Eight Airbus A400Ms were ordered with Airbus Defence and Space for use with 15th Wing Air Transport. The first aircraft, serial CT01, is owned by Luxembourg, is painted in Luxembourg Armed Forces colours and was delivered on 7 October 2020. It is operated by the 15th Wing at Melsbroek. The first Belgian A400M, serial CT02, was delivered on 22 December 2020.
