Cathay Pacific increases Airbus A350F-order
Airbus announced on 27 May 2026, that the Cathay Group has decided to convert two options on the A350F into firm orders. With this conversion, Cathay now has eight A350Fs on firm order. No delivery timeline has been communicated.
Cathay selected the A350F in December 2023 and placed a firm order for six aircraft with options on another twenty. Deliveries of the first of these six was originally scheduled to begin in 2027.
The airline plans to use its new Airbuses to replace the older Jumbojets in the fleet, which currently is made-up of six B747-400Fs and fourteen B747-8Fs.
