MYAirline secures more Airbus A320s
During this year's Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 23), MYAirline has signed lease-agreements with Aircastle, Avolon, Genesis, and SMBC Aviation Capital to lease additional Airbus A320s. In total, the airline has secured leases for ten more aircraft, of which the first are to be delivered this year.
MYAirline launched flights in November 2022 and is operating a fleet of seven leased A320s out of Kuala Lumpur. From there, it flies to Bangkok, Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Langkawi, Miri, Penang, Sibu and Tawau.
The airline plans to use the new aircraft to increase frequencies but also add new destinations.
