TAM A320 near Sao Paulo on Feb 6th 2011, bird strike

A TAM Linhas Aereas Airbus A320-200, registration PR-MHY performing flight JJ-3558 from Iguassu Falls,PR to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil), was on approach to Sao Paulo about 10 minutes prior to landing when a loud thud from the front of the aircraft was heard throughout the cabin. The airplane continued for a safe landing at Sao Paulo's Guarulhos Airport.

Passenger maxx reported that after the airplane arrived at the parking position and passengers were preparing to disembark the captain announced they had hit a large bird. After the passenger disembarked he saw large dents in the nose cone of the aircraft (see photo below).
