Cathay Cargo to add A330(P2F) capacity via Air Hong Kong
Cathay Cargo will add capacity through an incremental A330-300(P2F) to be operated by Air Hong Kong (LD, Hong Kong International) under a long-term lease agreement with Air Transport Services Group subsidiary Cargo Aircraft Management. The converted freighter is due to join Air Hong Kong's fleet in the fourth quarter of 2026. The aircraft will primarily serve mainland China and regional routes, in tandem with Cathay Cargo's upcoming A350Fs.
Owned by Cathay Pacific, Air Hong Kong currently operates four A330-200(P2F)s and ten A330-300(P2F)s. Cathay Pacific's own cargo division operates six B747-400ERFs and fourteen B747-8Fs.
