A320N AzerbaijanAirlines 640Azerbaijan Airlines leases more Airbus A320neos

On 2 October 2024, AerCap announced it has reached an agreement with Azerbaijan Airlines for the lease of Airbus A320/A321neos. In total, the airline will be leasing six additional aircraft, three A320neos and three A321neos. All aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in 2026.

Azerbaijan Airlines currently has three A320neos in the fleet and has also ordered twelve A320neo-family aircraft directly with Airbus in April 2023.

Next to its A320neos, the airline's fleet is made-up of four A319s (one operated for the government), ten A320s (one operated for the government), two A340-500s (parked), one A340-600 (operated for the government), one Boeing B757-200, three B767-300ERS (one operated for the government), one B777-200LR (operated for the government), two B787-8s, and nine Embraer ERJ190s.
