More Airbus A220-300s for Delta
On 13 July 2023, Airbus and Delta announced that the airline has, again, firmed up options on the A220s. Similar as in January this year, the airline has converted twelve options into firm orders, and again for the A220-300.
With this latest order, Delta Air Lines now has placed 131 firm orders for the A220, consisting of 45 A220-100s and 86 A220-300s. Since it first order, the airline has increased its orders five times and is the largest customer to date for the type.
Delta Air Lines took delivery of its first A220 in 2018 and currently has 61 in service.
