Lufthansa Cargo begins A321P2F-operations
On 15 March 2022, Lufthansa Cargo has launched its A321P2F-operations, with D-AEUC (3504), flying from Frankfurt to Dublin and Manchester. Later, the carrier plans to also deploy the aircraft to Cairo, Istanbul, Malta, Tel Aviv and Tunis. A second A321P2F is planned to arrive later this year.
Lufthansa Cargo took delivery of the aircraft on 30 January after being converted at Singapore-Seletar. The duo of A321P2Fs are operated by Lufthansa CityLine and supports Lufthansa Cargo's expansion in the e-commerce market.
