London, UK - British charter operator Titan Airways is preparing to add two Airbus A321LR later this year.
The new planes will replace two Boeing 757-200 aircraft in the airline's fleet, which are both 20 years old. Titan expects to take delivery of its Airbus A321LRs in late summer and begin the operations in the autumn.
According to the carrier, the long-range variant of the Airbus' A320neo family is the best choice for Titan's long-haul operations.
Titan's A321LRs will feature different cabin configurations, including an all-business layout with 52 lie-flat seats. The planes will also offer a single-class 195-seat interior as well as a two-class arrangement with 16 premium and 168 economy seats.
In addition to the A321LRs, Titan will receive an Airbus A330 this spring as part of its transition to an all-Airbus operator.
Titan Airways currently operates one Airbus A318-100, two A320-200, three A321-200, two Boeing 757-200 and one Boeing 767-300ER.
Three Boeing 737-400SF are operated by the cargo branch of the company.
