Malta's Comlux Aviation adds first ACJ320neo
Comlux Aviation Malta (MLM, Malta Int'l) has taken delivery of its first of three A320-200neo(CJ)s on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac). Following its handing over on March 22, 9H-NEW (msn 8638) was ferried from Hamburg Finkenwerder to Indianapolis Int'l where it will undergo cabin refitment.
“The new ACJ320neo gives us the means to deliver nonstop flights to even more of the world," Comlux Executive Chairman and CEO Richard Gaona said in a statement. "CFM International International has supported Comlux over the years, and we have chosen its new, fuel-efficient and highly reliable LEAP-1A engines to power the aircraft. Comlux Completion will install a unique VIP cabin interior, using the most advanced technologies to offer the best comfort and luxury to our customer."
The Maltese VIP charter specialist also operates a single VIP-configured A330-200, one A319-100(CJ), and one A318-100(CJ) operated for Universal Entertainment.
