Japan's ANA All Nippon adds maiden A380
ANA - All Nippon Airways (NH, Tokyo Haneda) has taken delivery of its first of three A380-800s on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac).
JA381A (msn 262) was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac to Tokyo Narita on Wednesday, March 20, ahead of its deployment into service on July 1 on ANA's Tokyo Narita-Honolulu route.
ANA's second A380 will deliver during the second quarter of the year. All three were originally destined for Skymark Airlines (BC, Tokyo Haneda) but assumed by ANA Holdings during Skymark's bankruptcy proceedings in 2015.
The aircraft feature 520 seats in total including eight in First Class, 56 in Business Class, 73 in Premium Economy, and 383 in Economy Class of which 70 are ANA COUCHii-branded convertible sofas.
