Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) has taken delivery of its first A321-200neo following the arrival of HA-LVA (msn 8712) in Budapest on Thursday, March 7.
On lease from FPG Amentum, the twinjet features Pratt & Whitney PW1133G-JM motors with 239 seats in a single-class configuration.
The Hungarian LCC has a total of five A321ceo, 184 A321neo and seventy-two A320neo on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac). According to its 3Q financial results, Wizz Air is expecting two A321neo through the end of March 2019 with a further 10 due by late March 2020. Thereafter, by late March 2021, seventeen A321neo are due.
At present, Wizz Air operates seventy-one A320ceo and thirty-seven A321ceo.
