easyJet adds maiden A321neo
easyJet (U2, London Luton) took delivery of its first A321neo on Friday, July 13. G-UZMA (msn 8314) was ferried from Hamburg Finkenwerder to London Luton where it is awaiting deployment into service.
The UK-based budget carrier has a total of thirty A321neo on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) all of which are powered by CFM International LEAP-1A32 motors.
easyJet and its easyJet Europe (EJU, Vienna) and easyJet Switzerland (DS, Geneva) subsidiaries operate a total of 132 A319-100s, 166 A320-200s and nine A320neo at present.
