Kuwait's Golden Falcon Aviation firms A320neo order
Kuwait-based Golden Falcon Aviation has ordered twenty-five A320neo from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac). The purchase was first announced as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during last year's Dubai Airshow. The aircraft will be placed with Kuwaiti carrier Wataniya Airways (Q9, Kuwait).
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Wataniya Airways operates two A320-200s and two A319-100s on wet-lease from Greece's Olympus Airways (OLY, Athens Int'l). It serves 15 cities across North Africa, Southern Europe, the Middle East, Turkey, Nepal, and the CIS.
