China Airlines orders more Airbus A350-1000s
On 18 December 2025, Airbus announced that China Airlines has placed a firm order for additional A350-1000s. The order is for five aircraft, taking its total ordered A350-1000s to fifteen. Deliveries of the first aircraft is expected in 2029.
The order is part of the airline's expansion plan that saw it also order ten Boeing B777-9s and four B777-8Fs in December 2024. On top of these orders, China Airlines also has direct open orders for five more A321neos and 24 B787-9s.
Today, the fleet of the airline is made-up of 20 A321neos, thirteen A330-300s, fifteen A350-900s, eight B737-800s, ten B777Fs, and ten B777-300ERs.
