Delta orders 20 Airbus A350-1000's plus options on 20 more
On 12 January 2024, Delta announced it has selected the Airbus A350-1000 to expand its widebody-fleet with. The order was already rumoured since before the Paris Air Show in 2023 but has now been made official.
In total, Delta Air Lines has ordered 20 A350-1000s which will be delivered between 2026 and 2028. The deal also includes options for 20 more aircraft.
With this latest order, the airline now has open orders for 36 A350s, whilst currently operating 28 A350-900s.
