Zagreb, Croatia - Croatia Airlines has taken delivery of a newly leased Airbus A319 aircraft. The plane registered 9A-CTN was previously operated by the Portugueses charter specialist Hi-Fly and bankrupt German carrier Germania.
The aircraft was in storage since November 2019. The Airbus A319, which has been leased for eight years, is the fifth aircraft of the same type in the Croatian carrier's fleet. The eight-years-old jet is also the youngest airliner in the fleet of Croatia's national airline.
Croatia Airlines currently operates five Airbus A319-100s, two Airbus A320-200s, and seven De Havilland Dash-8-400. The airline also has four Airbus A320neos in its order book with the European planemaker.
