Saudi Arabia's flynas adds first A320neo
flynas (XY, Riyadh) has taken delivery of its first A320neo after HZ-NS22 (msn 8443) was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac to Riyadh on Tuesday, November 13.
The Saudi carrier has a total of 120 A320neo due from Airbus of which 80 have been secured on sales/leaseback and will deliver through 2026. These 80 are powered by CFM International LEAP 1A motors.
Airline CEO Bander Almohanna told Arabian Business news last week that flynas may convert some of those orders into A321neo(LR)s which would then allow it to offer Umrah services to markets such as London and cities in France.
flynas currently operates an in-house fleet of two A319-100s and twenty-six A320ceo on flights throughout Saudi Arabia as well as to Sudan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iraq, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, India, Jordan, Turkey, and Lebanon.
