British Airways outlines Qatar Airways A330 deployment plans
British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) has outlined its proposed operational plans for the three A330-200s it plans to wet-lease from fellow Oneworld member Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad Int'l) later this summer.
Airline Route reports the Airbus widebodies will provisionally enter service on June 9 on the following routes out of London Heathrow: Delhi Int'l (through to August 20); Kuwait (through to June 30), and Muscat (through to August 19).
British Airways is using the A330s to offset a capacity crunch brought about by the absence of select Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 B787s.
