Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas) has taken delivery of its first A320neo with EC-MXU (msn 8221) having been positioned from Toulouse Blagnac to Madrid Barajas on Tuesday, May 29.

The IAG International Airlines Group unit has a total of thirty-seven A320neo Family purchase options of which sixteen are A320neo and four are A321neo.

Iberia currently operates fifteen A319-100s, thirty-three A320ceo, and fifteen A321-200s all of which will eventually be replaced by the incoming A320neo Family jets.
