Incident: Swiss A319 near Hanover on Oct 28th 2011, hydraulic faillure

A Swiss Airbus A319-100, registration HB-IPX performing flight LX-1216 from Zurich (Switzerland) to Oslo (Norway), was enroute at FL340 about 70nm south of Hanover (Germany) about 35 minutes into the flight when the crew decided to return to Zurich due to a hydraulic failure. The crew indicated they expected normal operation and would be able to vacate the runway. The aircraft landed safely on Zurich's runway 16 about 50 minutes later and taxied to the apron.

A Jetblue Airbus A320-200, registration N630JB performing flight B6-1728 from Ponce (Puerto Rico) to Orlando,FL (USA), was enroute at FL360 about 105nm eastsoutheast of Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA) when the crew began the descent towards Fort Lauderdale due to a female passenger on board, who suffered seizures. Just when the aircraft was about to be handed off to tower the crew indicated hydraulic issues leaving them without that much rudder. The crew continued for a safe landing on runway 09L and taxied to the gate, where the patient was awaited by medical staff and taken to a hospital.
A replacement Airbus A320-200 registration N784JB continued the flight and reached Orlando with a delay of 2:20 hours.
