Juneyao & Spring Airlines order A320neo-family aircraft
On 29 December 2025, both Juneyao Airlines and Spring Airlines disclosed orders for additional Airbus A320neo-family aircraft. Juneyao Airlines has committed to 25 aircraft, and Spring Airlines to 30. The new Airbuses are scheduled to be delivered between 2028 and 2032.
Juneyao operates a fleet of 30 A320s, 22 A320neos, 27 A321s, fourteen A321neos, and ten B787-9s. Spring Airlines has a fleet that's made-up of 75 A320s, 47 A320neos, and twelve A321neos.
More Chinese A320neo-family orders
A day after the announcement of Juneyao Airlines and Spring Airlines, more Chinese customers announced follow-up orders for the Airbus A320neo-family.
Lessor CALC has disclosed an order for 30 A320neo-family aircraft, taking its total ordered neo-orders to 282. Deliveries are to begin in 2028 and run until 2033.
Air China is also expanding its neo-fleet, with 60 aircraft to be precise. These are expected to be delivered between 2028 and 2032.
Today, the Air China-fleet is made-up of 22 A319s, six A319neos, 38 A320s, 53 A320neos, 61 A321s, 43 A321neos, fifteen A330-200s, 28 A330-300s, 30 A350-900s, fifteen B737-700s, 95 B737-800s, 31 B737-8s, two B747-400s, seven B747-8s, 28 B777-300ERs, fourteen B787-9s, 35 C909s, and nine C919s.
