Breeze discloses additional Airbus A220-order
On 20 February 2024, Airbus announced that Breeze Airways has placed an order for more A220-300s. In total, the airline has signed-up for ten additional aircraft. With this latest order, the total number of ordered A220s by Breeze stands at 90, making it the third largest customer of the type.
Breeze has, so far, taken delivery of 21 A220-300s, which it operates alongside its ten Embraer ERJ190s, and six ERJ195s. The airline also announced that it will move to an all-A220 operation by the end of this year, phasing-out its Embraers.
