1st A350-900 for Air India rolls out of paintshop
On 7 October 2023, Air India released pictures of its first Airbus A350-900 rolling out of the paintshop at Toulouse-Blagnac. It's also the first aircraft wearing the airline's new livery. The A350 involved is F-WZHH (592), which will become VT-JRH. In total, Air India is set to take delivery of six A350-900s. Deliveries will start in December 2023. All six were previously destined to go to Aeroflot.
Next to these six A350-900s, Air India also has orders for 34 A350-1000s, 140 A320neos, 70 A321neos, 190 Boeing B737MAXs, 20 B787-9s, and ten B777-9s.
