ITA Airways set to introduce first A320neo
On 4 January 2023, the first Airbus A320neo for ITA Airways arrived at Rome-Fiumicino. The aircraft, still registered OE-IDC (11201), arrived from Shannon where it received the airline's livery. It will be registered EI-INA and is set to enter service later in January.
In total, ITA Airways has secured orders and leases for at least 23 Airbus A320neos to join the fleet. This consists currently of four Airbus A220-300s, seventeen A319s, 31 A320-200s, eight A330-300s, and six A350-900s.
