JetSMART Argentina (Córdoba Int'l) has taken delivery of its first aircraft, A320-200 LV-HEK (msn 8599). According to Flightradar24 ADS-B data, the twinjet was handed over on December 11 and ferried from Hamburg Finkenwerder to Las Palmas and onwards to Natal Aluizio Alves.
Having secured Alas del Sur's Air Services Licence (ASL) in July this year, JetSMART Argentina is in the process of completing its Air Operator's certificate (AOC) with the Argentine civil aviation authority.
It has previously been granted multiple route authorities covering the Argentine market as well as Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, and Bolivia.
