Kazakhstan's Air Astana adds maiden A321neo
Air Astana (KC, Astana) has taken delivery of its first A321neo from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac). P4-KDC (msn 7567) was positioned from Hamburg Finkenwerder to Astana on Saturday, December 30, 2017.
On lease from AerCap, the twinjet is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1133G motors and features 28 seats in business class and 151 in economy class.
The Kazakh carrier is expected to operate a total of seven A321neo as well as four LR variants come 2020. A total of three A321neo and one A320neo are due from the Dutch lessor.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Air Astana already operates four A321-200s two of which are owned while the other two are leased from AerCap.
